The National Commercial Bank Chooses Captaris RightFax to Centralize Its Document Delivery Platform RightFax Software Eliminates 200 Fax Machines
Monday Nov 22, 04:00 AM PST
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Captaris Inc. , a leading provider of Business Information Delivery solutions, today announced that The National Commercial Bank (NCB) of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has chosen Captaris RightFax Enterprise Server as its desktop faxing application and document delivery platform. The NCB was the first bank established in Saudi Arabia in 1953 and is the largest bank, ranked by total capital assets, in the Arab world.
RightFax allows organizations like NCB to significantly reduce costs by integrating with core business applications to automate the flow of faxes, papers, electronic documents and data. RightFax users at NCB can now send, receive and manage faxes electronically from their desktops, reducing the time and costs associated with using traditional fax machines.
Hani Damanhouri, Head Office Technical Support Manager at NCB said, "We chose Captaris because the company is a worldwide market leader and their products are both established and flexible. RightFax not only handles our faxes, but also delivers documents directly from our credit applications. We also use RightFax to fax paper documents from Xerox networked multifunction devices. It is truly a centralized document delivery platform." He added, "Since RightFax has been implemented, we have begun phasing out 200 standard fax machines and expect to see a return on our investment in less than six months."
"NCB also selected RightFax because they needed seamless integration with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. In addition, NCB uses RightFax to automatically route inbound faxes to the appropriate individual or departments and reduce their call costs by using RightFax Intelligent Least-cost Routing. RightFax also delivers an electronic audit trail of every fax sent or received, which is particularly important to ensure NCB's adherence to data compliance regulations," said Fadi Honein, Regional Manager MENA, India & Turkey, Captaris.
NCB chose a key Captaris reseller in the region, Arabic Computer Systems (ACS), to perform the implementation. ACS was selected based on their experience implementing similar projects in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
